Humpybong Yacht Club has set the membership fees for the 2022/23 season as follows;
Humpybong Yacht Club is an affiliated club with Yachting Queensland and Australian Sailing. Part of your membership contribution to Humpybong Yacht Club goes towards this affiliation but also other running costs of the club. All club members (including social and volunteers) are registered in Australia Sailing's database and recieve a Sailor Identification Number (SIN) that can be used at our club and at other clubs around the country to show you are a member of an afilliate club.
Under our club's constituion, all learn-to-sail participants are deemed temporary members of the club for the duration of thier course.
The affiliation to and funding of Yachting Queensland and Austraian Sailing goes towards developing programs for the benefit of all sailors at all levels of our sport. Volunteers are required to be members for insurance purposes, but also so that we can register them in course to provide training for the many roles around the club.
