Policies and Procedures

Humpybong Yacht Club is a Discover Sailing Centre and as such offers club members nationally recognised training in sailing based on programmes developed by Yachting Australia. Under our club's constituion, all learn-to-sail participants are deemed temporary members of the club for the duration of thier course.

"To be the premier North Brisbane sailing club providing sailing activities, facilities, and training in accordance with the needs of our members and the community now and in the future. To encourage as many people into sailing as a sport and recreation our aim is to deliver quality training in a safe and enjoyable manner."

AMSA Marine Order 504

Under the Marine Safety (Certificates of operation) Exemption 2025 all of the vessels operated by Humpybong Yacht Club fall under the exemption provided by Schedule 1 Division 2 item 2.2.

We therefore have and comply with a safety management system that addresses the operation requirements in Schedules 1 and 2 of Marine Order 504 that apply for the vessel.
