City of Moreton Bay are currently upgrading the foreshore at Woody Point and we need everyone to be extra careful around the construction site.
We are still open for sailing and regattas. This will not stop us operating, we just need to be aware of some changes around the club.

So let's go over some tips to keep us all safe during the works.
- The bike path has been re-routed in front of the clubhouse so there are bikes moving between the clubhouse and the rigging lawn.
- Take care when crossing the bike path as the cyclists may not see you.
- Don't leave hoses across the path. Use the tap in the rigging yard for washing sailing boats and the tap at the clubhouse for washing power boats.
- Don't leave boats, trailers or the tractor across the bike path.
- The builder's compound has been erected at the western end of our rigging lawn.
- Take care around the temporary fences, and don't rest gear against them.
- During the week watch out for heavy vehicles moving on the beach side of the compound.
- There is more area in front of the Navy Cadets building for rigging boats if the yard is full.
If you have any questions about the foreshore works, please contact Ryan or Matthew at the club.
