The 2020 Christmas Bash incorporating the 2020 Queensland 125 titles  is being conducted over the period 27th - 30th December.

HYC will also run sailing for the Junior fleet, i.e. Opti, Sabot and nay BICs that enter, along side teh adult sailors as a separate division running a shorter course.

Typically, the Christmas period heralds the cut and thrust of Nationals sailing. This is different. Day one is  a Discover Sailing Day. If you want to showcase your class bring the boats on down - we will get the public there to take a look and try it out

For the next three days, each day will begin wth  coaching and tuning sesssions and a novelty event; all voluntary attendance. In the afternoons after 1300, two races will be sailed. Each evening there is a social activity planned. 

The final pesentations will be made after racing on the 30th and everyone is welcome to stay on for the BBQ

A late fee applies to all entries lodged after midnight 24th December

No entries will be accepted after 10am on the day of racing

YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION:

• Your Australian Sailing Identification Number
• Your sail number
• Your boat's class and descriptor
• Your boat's yardstick
• Your boat's insurance details

If you have a crew you will need their name and AS number

Parent permission forms for all under 18 years old will be required.

As with all major events at Humpybong, overnight camping will be available to competitors and their families and the canteen will be open for the duration of the event. Alternatively, look for other accommodation options here.

This years regatta will be complicated by the CoVID-19 restrictions placed on all events by the Government. The HYC CoVID-19 Management plan forms part of the NOR and it is aexpected that all competitors and support teams will familiarise themselves with teh requiremtns before the eveetn. It is important for everyone,s safety.
