Starting on 7th of January we will be running our first Tackers 1 - Having Fun classes in an intensive one week holiday programme for 7-12 year olds.

The racing and regatta calendar has been prepared in co-ordination with other clubs in South-East Queensland in an effort that each small club supports the others as well as ourselves. We therefore recommend that our members try racing at other clubs in the area on days that there is no racing at HYC. We also welcome members from other clubs to come and sail with us.

There will be NO SAILING AT HYC in the event of a STRONG WIND WARNING being issued for MORETON BAY on the morning of the race

Club Events

• First Race Starts 1100

Seperate Divisions consisting of Large beach catamarans, Small beach catamarans, Large beach dinghies, Small beach dinghies, and any other group who would like to compete e.g. trailer sailors, classic boats, etc.

Location

Sailing will take place on the waters at the southern end of the Redcliffe Peninsula. The club house is located on the Cnr Hornibrook Esplanade and Oxley Av, near the Woody Point Jetty.

Visitors

Sailors are welcome to participate in all club events. Sailors who are not financial members of any Queensland club, are required to join after three visits.
